The Lodge Stanwell, Heathrow is a private family-run establishment.  A former 19th-century red-brick barn, it has been converted several times over the last century to adapt to its surroundings, including housing service members during the second world war. With the advent of air travel and various attractions in the surrounding area, it is open to the public for accommodation, giving a slight air of peace and tranquility within the heart of Stanwell Village.
